Aggregate industry, with two different mechanisms you get elliptical motion. You can also use the same mechanisms for linear motion.

Double Shaft Inclined Screen

I have been offered 2 screens for my application.. One manufacturer is supplying a single shaft machine size 24' x 8' and the other is fitted with double shafts. Which one would be a better choice considering that my mesh sizes would be 28, 16mm and 10mm?

The simplest answer is - the guy who guarantees your process is better.

It depends what are you screening and what product you want.
