Greetings and salutations Amit Soni,

What is the allowable or actual budget of the crusher and related equipment?

Is the type of crusher desired a known issue?

Is the crusher to be flood loaded or does it employ a feeding mechanism?

examples

1.primary rotary breaker with final sizing

(a)jaw crusher

2. hammer mill

3. sizer-single roll, double roll or 4 roll

4. cone crusher

5. centrifugal rotor impact crusher

Is the coal screened prior to breakage? to reduce fines in the product entering the crusher?

what amount of coal fines(<50 mesh) do you intend to have or already have?

Is the coal wet or dry? is a magnet employed for ferrous metal removal prior to crushing?

You have for the most part answered your inquiry as it is simply a selection process of available crushers in the production tonnage per hour and final product size you have described.

Tilting At Hammer Mills

Posted on 11. May. 2009 - 12:05

It isn't screened: no bottom size given.

Look up Pennsylvania (Brits love that word) Crushers & MMD websites for more information.

Wanting to know the way crusher people calculate power demand is like asking NASA for lift off thrust demand. It's their business & if you get bogged down with Bond Indices you'll finish up with as much egg on your face as those alleged Consultants who interfere with manufacturers' evidence. It's one thing to read Wills, Prior & Taggart: its something else to formulate parameters from scratch.

Look up Metso/Nordberg as well.

Dear Sir,

I was working on belt design. I know a little beat about conveyor design.

I was just trying to know about some book or IS reference for Crusher Design.

Thanks for the reply Sir.

Coal Crusher Selection

Mr. A. N. Soni,

No ones feeelings are hurt, you will find we are a pretty strong bunch of brothers and sisters here with a common goal of better design , better function, better performance in all types and methods of bulk handing for all or most bulk commodities including food stuff's.

You have not offended me or anyone else so no need to worry about that, we are simply here to help each other with the experience we have gained in our collective work experience and training in the business of bulk handing.

We all have our preferences for disciplines in machineries, methods of breakage and methods of ore transport related to material type, known and unknown machineries, machinery efficiencies, preference in machinery types used for ore transfer, screeening, crushing and quality control to maintain product size, and transporting the products in bulk and the eventual marketing of the product.

As far as basic information there are several crushing and sreening equipment manufatcuring associations you can access through my friends here,

The forum administrator Herr Dr. Reinhardt Wolbier is very helpful with questions as are my friends Mr. George Baker, Mr. Gary Blenkhorn, Mr. Lawrence Nordell, Mr. Amrit Agwar, Mr. Lyn Bates, Louis Panjang, name a few of the fine individuals who are members on or bulletin board here.

There are many publications availble from the manufacturing associations that are available throught the forum here as well.

Please do not feel that you have to apologise as you have offended no one on the forum with your questions that need answers.
