The screw conveyor shown would certainly not elevate vertically. In any case, I suspect that the enquirer is refering to a spiral vibrating conveyor, which seems more appropriate. There are many manufacturers of this form of equipment and the internet would provide a suitable contact. I would not recommend an amateur design when proven equipment is readily available. ■

Vibratory spirals are indeed a great device to elevating bulk material.
