We are using a vertical shaft impactor for a material which consists of silica 89% and Mgo 0.45%. We are presently using tungsten carbide tips and also ni hard liners. These are hardly coming for 100 hours and wearing out very fast. Could any one suggest a suitable mettalurgy for the wear parts.
We are feeding -25 mm and taking out -4.75 mm. The SG of material is 2.75
