Structure Vision Ltd.

The DigiPac suite of products addresses the complex issues related to analysing how particles interact with each other in confined environments. Rather than relying solely on time-consuming particulate analysis to be carried out in the lab, DigiPac enables virtual simulations to be performed at the desktop. DigiPac’s advantage comes from its ability to model precise shapes and structures, rather than utilising the traditional sphere based approach, resulting in a more accurate solution.

Any industry involved with storing, handling and / or processing particulate materials or discrete objects is an ideal application area for DigiPac. Specific examples of DigiPac applications are listed below;

• Relationship between bulk density and particle size/shape distributions for powder.

• Particle size/shape distribution versus coverage power in coating.

• Segregation tendency versus particle shape/size distribution.

• Flowability versus shape/size distribution of powder particles.

• Compressibility versus particle shape/size distributions.

• Sorting – how shape influences effectiveness and efficiency of the mechanical sorting of ores.

• DigiPac helps with the testing and development of stereological techniques using artificial 3D ore structures.

• Bulk density versus size/shape distribution of metal powder.

• Sintering behaviours versus powder packing.

We provide software licensing, consulting and training services.
