G2 Material Handling Inc. Acquires Southwest Stainless Inc.

Springfield, MO – G2 Material Handling today announced the acquisition of Southwest Stainless Inc. located in Springfield Missouri. Southwest Stainless is a major supplier of sanitary piping and custom fabricated stainless steel equipment for the Dairy, Food and Pharmaceutical Industries. Manufacturing for both companies will remain in the existing 20,000 SF facility.

G2 will add approximately 10-12 new employees over the next few months and all of the current SSI employees will remain on board.

Geary Gorrell, President and CEO of G2MH said, “The combination of the two companies will allow G2 to produce our “Platinum SeriesTM equipment and IBC’s with the finest craftsman available. The Springfield area has been known for many years as the ‘Home of Stainless Steel Manufacturing’ and SSI is no exception. G2 will immediately benefit from the existing customer base, product knowledge and experienced manufacturing personnel at SSI.”

Referring to the acquisition, G2MH Vice President and COO, Ryan Gorrell stated, “G2 and SSI will experience increased efficiencies, expanded purchasing power and the combination of the Sales, Administration and Customer Service Departments. G2 will now be able to expand its product offering to our customer base.”

G2MH Vice Presidents - COO Ryan Gorrell and CFO Tim Stallion - will also locate their offices at the SSI facility. SSI’s current President, Russ Lombard will take a position on the board of directors in an advisory roll for G2MH. Gary Taylor will remain as Vice President of Operations for SSI and will continue to direct field operations.

G2 Material Handling Inc., designs, manufactures and services material handling equipment with emphases’ on Intermediate Bulk Container Systems for the dry products industry.
