Cement mud removal

Hi there.

One of our customers, managing a manufacture of cement posts, would like to automate the cleaning of the mud composed mostly of water and cement particles covering the floor.

At the moment, the mix is cleaned from the floors by the workers with shovels and scrapers.

The question is: what is usually used to get rid of this kind of mud?

First thoughts were about a drag chain conveyor inserted in the floor with steel chute to confine it and avoid it to spread in mechnical parts or maybe a concrete floor with a large scraper which go back and forth using a sort of winch system, the whole thing beneath a welded steel bar grating allowing the mud to fall but the workers to walk on it.

Thank to share your experience in this area. And sorry for the possible english langage mistakes.

See, that is exactly one of the first thoughts based on our knowledge of the mud removal.

But.

I was wondering if something different was existing specificly for the cement factories, given that the particles may be more abrassive and that we could expect a higher friction.

Never seen anything like it elsewhere, only shifting the brown stuff as you see!
