Zeppelin presents new technologies and product ranges on the K2007 at Düsseldorf

Zeppelin’s industrial sector of which Zeppelin Silos & Systems GmbH (at Friedrichshafen) is the parent company presents new technologies as well as new portfolios on the K2007. Thanks to newly gained competences the company could extend its position in the market

New subsidiary at Nottingham

Following the approval by the antitrust commission Zeppelin has taken over the portfolio “Conveying and Dosing Technologies” as well as “Control Technologies” of the British plant constructor Chronos Richardson Ltd. Chronos Richardson has been especially successful in the international market for rubber and tire manufacturers for more than 20 years.

As both, Zeppelin and Chronos Richardson Ltd., belong to the leading manufacturers of plants for the rubber industry and tiremakers the cooperation of both key-players will certainly offer important advantages for the future development of this division: The consolidated production program of both technology leaders will grant optimum system solutions meeting the respective individual requirements of their customers on the one hand and on the other hand the world-wide Zeppelin network will offer unique engineering capacities and experience to the sector. Long-term field-proven technologies e.g. control systems for which Chronos Richardson Ltd. used to set technical standards are completed perfectly by Zeppelin’s production program.

The business unit which has been taken over will be integrated into the recently established Zeppelin Systems Ltd. (Nottingham) as a new competence center. It will attend to manufacturers of rubber and tires all over the world and sell Zeppelin’s product range to producers and processors of plastics in Great Britain in the future.

The acquisition of FAT’s know-how allows customers in this high-quality sector to purchase also the filter technology directly from the plant constructor.

The production program comprises cartridge filters (for protection of blowers), bag and flat bag filters (designed as bin vent or aspiration filters) as well as cassette filters (channel filters or compressed-air filters).
