Hello Onlybob
The answer to your question is yes the belt wagon can operate automatically through a PLC.
We have exactly this arrangement on the standby system for dumping ash at a local power station. I put this system in during the 80's, and since then the control is now far simpler making it even more feasible.
It is common however to have the automatic facility, but to drive it manually.

Hello,
The answer to your question is yes. There are some unique programming techniques, but we have experience with making multiple mobile conveyors work together and move with each other. Please feel free to contact me.

Can a belt wagon be run automatically with a mobile stacking conveyor?
I have a question regarding the operation of a belt wagon. What I want to know is in the title. I mean whether the belt wagon could be connected to a mobile stack conveyor and is run automatically together with it by a PLC without any operator. Thanks. ■
