I have not heard about glueing the mesh to the steel frame - some guys though protect the fasteners by covering them with glass fibre and epoxy.

Fine mesh adhesive
I am looking an adhesive for glue fine mesh to the frame, both are stainless steel.
As I seen in some circular or rectangular screeners, the mesh are glue to the frame with an adhesive (white or grey color). Somebody knows were I can buy this adhesive. ■
