As you may already know, Canon Communications LLC recently acquired the International Powder & Bulk Solids Show, the Powder & Bulks Solids Southeast Event and Powder Bulk Solids Magazine. We are very excited about the opportunity to serve the exhibitors and attendees associated with these markets.

Canon is an event organizer and publisher who specialize solely in producing shows serving the U.S. manufacturing markets. As such, we fully understand the need to produce events that are meaningful and productive for both exhibitors and attendees.

The reality in today’s manufacturing markets is that fewer people are doing a lot more than in the past. This is the case in both the supplier (exhibitor) and manufacturer or OEM (attendee) worlds. With this in mind, Canon has employed the concept of co-locating highly synergistic events that provide a much higher value proposition for exhibitors and more importantly, this allows attendees to source the full spectrum of products and services they may require for their manufacturing process - from design through processing and packaging and everything in between!

April 24-26, 2007, Powder and Bulk Solids Southeast will co-locate with the SouthPack, PLASTEC South, ATX South/AM Expo and Design & Manufacturing South shows to create the largest and most comprehensive processing, manufacturing and packaging event the South has ever hosted. The overall event includes 800 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees on 300,000 square feet of exhibition space.

At the end of the day, we are in the “attendee” business. If quality attendees don’t come, we fully understand the consequences. Because of the positioning of the overall event, we’re able to promote to traditional powder attendees and provide them with a more compelling reason to visit the show. They can see an additional 600 exhibitors providing everything from packaging and automation to design tools and process controls. It is this level of efficiency and critical mass that attracts quality attendees en masse. Southern attendees will be more inclined to visit a show that is totally dedicated to their region and offers such an extensive comprehensive array of products and solutions.
