New feeder allows for complete tool free dis assembly with auger removal from either end. Operations that require quick access are limited by typical feeder dis assembly from the front with the drive fixed and stationary. VF600EZ makes it simple by allowing auger to be pulled out from either end or simply slid out from rear for inspection. Design allows for radically configured batch system feeding with feeders mounted in tight making for a compact installation without sacrificing serviceability. By supporting and assisting drive components and discharge tube assembly, operators are less exposed to injury because they are no longer lifting these parts. EZ does all the work. Simple tool free take apart makes it easy for cleaning and inspection, providing more assurance that this task is being completed.

Typical larger volumetric quick take apart feeders prohibit auger access from the rear. Augers are only able to be removed from the front. Discharge tube and auger are typically heavy and cumbersome with no means of support. VF600EZ utilizes a set of solid stainless steel bars riding in linear bearings to support drive assembly and discharge tube. A hinge at each end allows for these components to be hinged out of the way. Bottom of feeder is flush with opening making for easy ledge free clean up. With both ends of feeder housing open and exposed, a thorough cleaning of housing can be made. Modular design of components will allow a combination of augers and feeder discharge tubes to be used for simple tool free conversion of a feeder from one size to another.

This product represents a major advancement to a product that has been in plants for several decades. Not re-invented, just completely redesigned to suit a modern process facility.
