If the lumps are any size at all they won't go up 30 degrees.

YES AGREED,WE NEED TO KNOW THE LUMP SIZE OF LIMESTONE.

I FEEL MOTOR OF 5.5KW X 1500 RPM WITH INPUT/OUTPUT COUPLING WILL BE SUITABLE FOR ABOVE APPLICATION.

Dear Mr. Salam 1409,

You have mentioned 650 mm belt, 6 m centre to centre length and 30 degree inclined conveyor, for 3 tph conveying. If this is trough conveyor the actual conveying distance could be nearly 4 m. In this situation, if lump size is not governing factor, then screw conveyor may be more appropriate because it can convey the material at the said inclination.

Again if lump size is the criteria, then using belt conveyor would require special type of belt for 30 degree inclination.

One more option could be the use of chain conveyor which can deal with 30 degree incline and also larger size lump.

Unless the material characteristics and surrounding / related equipment particulars are mentioned, the answer cannot be specific.

You can do all your conveyor calculations on " http://www.sampra.com " which is web based application for designing of material handling equipment like Conveyors, Cranes, Hoists, etc. Its very convenient & useful as it didn't required any downloads or installation.
