Buy standard pipe in random 6m lengths & have them blasted, peened, roughed up by a paint shop/contractor. Others will say its more complicated than that; but it isn't. ■

Shot peening can be done with direction along the flow of the solids along the conveying line or without any direction. Normally, generation of fines due to shot peening is less if the directional method is used. This method has been patented in the USA under the name "FLo-Line Treatment".

shot peening is a kind of pipe inner surface treatment. Inner surface is hitted with 2mm or 3mm balls and roughened. so that when conveying pellet will jump when touch the inner surface in stead of sliding. Then no more heat generated and pellet is protected. ■

As far as i know, Butting can manufacture this kind of pipes, normally after shot peened, the roughness of inner side is 40~70um, this kind of surface treatment is different from normal blasting. ■
