If you are referring to pressure vessel design, this is the wrong forum. ASTM has specifications for pressure vessel design in the United States. Canada has their own as other countries may also. Canada is CSA standards. Hope this helps. ■

Pulley Shell And End Discs Thickness
Hi,
I try to find a formula to calculate the minimum shell and end disc thickness of some pulley.
I looked at the differents standards and it seems that it is not covered.
I don't have access to a FIA software and I am looking for rules of thumb or any other formula.
