Dear Hishamuddin,

If you know basic Excel, you can use the calculation method given in my article "Theory and Design of Pneumatic Conveying Systems" published in Powder Handling and Processing magazine in its April 2005 issue. I can send a free PDf copy if you need one. I will also help you if you need my help in these calculations.

Dear Sir,

we use homebrew pneumatic conveying equipment extensively in our plant. Design based on trial and error but working well now.

Naturally I am interested in your article and would be obliged, if you sent me a copy also.

Dear Amrit,

Thanks a lot for your generously sending me that extensive information.

I will put myself to studying it, and hope, that it will be the end of guessing, when a new application has to be designed.

Great to know a forum like this, where solid advice and information is given freely!

Thanks again.
