60" WIDE luffing conveyors

I am working with a fellow who wants to order a 60" wide full luffing conveyor. Anything special to look out for on this width of stacking conveyor?

Material is aggregate at 110 lbs/cu/ft

Your question is not very clear . following additional informations are required

Lump size of materil

capacity of conveyor T/Hr

Length of conveyor

Maximum height of stock pile

Whether conveyor is stationary or travelling type or swirling type

Based on requirement stacking conveyor can be designed

Luffing Conveyor

Hello George,

if you really need that size you will probably have to call Krupp or Mitsubishi as they( the luffing conveyor cranes) are set up to be track mounted or rail mounted-just plain huge with counterweights and bucket wheel if he expects to reclaim with the same unit.

He would probably be money ahead to purchase a small used (track mounted self propelled bucket wheel excavator) as they all have a luffing conveyor. They are real beavers when it comes to work from what I know of them.
