Our Rolling Slide Gate is used in applications to shut-off and control product flow. The gate has a number of benefits:
• Heavy-duty channel frame construction with structural angles to avoid gate frame deformation under material loads.
• Gate blade and seal retainers are constructed of 240 BHN.
• Regreaseable cam follower rollers which are located out of the product flow. These heavy-duty rollers help guide and support the blade.
• Displacement pockets are used to ensure full closure of the gate blade. This allows material to fall into the flow stream rather than being compressed against the frame.
• Beveled leading edge of the gate blade to assist its cutting through the material.
• Seals along the four sides of the blade including a wiping seal to assure better sealing of the gate.
• Various sizes, actuation styles, and materials of construction.
The gate may be used in applications, but not limited to, such as: bottom of bins, hoppers, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, and vibrating conveyors.
Each gate will be custom built to fit the application.
