Slope Determination
THE standard plug in slope for an inclined circle throw type vibrating screen is 20 DEGREES SLOPE or decline.
This is your start assumptive point and from there we need much more information to determine the exact optimal slope.

Additional Data For Slope Determination
Sir,
Thanks so much!!! Here are the additional information for our design:
1. Complete screen analysis:
Mesh # % retained
+11.20 13.55
+3 12.225
+6 22.35*
+16 49.19*
-16 2.91*
* Desired product to be obtained
2. Total screen area:
Total screen area is 12.42 sq. mtrs.
Width of the screen is 2.3 mtrs.
Length of the screen is 5.4 mtrs.
* We are attaching 3 electrical vibrators with 1.1 hp each.
3. Feed flowrate:
Feed flowrate is at 200 tph.
4. Type of screen:
We are using a specially woven screen. Wherein
the holes are rectangular in shape. The width is 5 mm
and the length is 4 cm.
Thanks and hoping for your quick reply....More Power!! ■
Screen Help
If you use care to use Tyler screens method take a full bucket of the material you wish to screen - 12 QUARTS MEASURE and throw it up side down on the ground and then measure the angle of repose for said material-it works but I like the way they screen material at Pennsylvania crusher myself- IT IS MUCH SIMPLER AND HAS FEWER PARTS. ■
:)
Thanks so much of all your help!!!!

Vibrating Screen Slope Determination
Sir,
We were ask to design a vibrating screen and we find it hard to determine thr proper slope or inclination of the screen. Our feed material is granular dirty sulfur with a moisture content of 4%. We set the hole opening of the screen at mesh no. 3. Are there equations that could support as in the determination of the slope or angle of repose for the screen? Thanks and more power! ■
