New TECHINT Shiploader
A NEW TECHINT SHIPLOADER: THE FOURTH SUCCESS AT CVRD TERMINAL, BRAZIL.
March 18, 2004 - Techint Technologies, in consortium with the Brazilian manufacturer Confab, also part of Techint Group of Companies, will supply a new shiploader for the Cia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) at Pier III Ponta da Madeira Terminal, Sao Luis (Brazil).
The shiploader will have a capacity of 8000 tph of iron ore and will be used to load vessels up to 200,000 DWT; the peculiarity of this new order is that it is the fourth shiploader ordered by CVRD to Techint Technologies for the Carajas Terminal. This shiploader (CN04) will operate in the same Pier III where another machine (CN03) has entered into commercial operation at the beginning of 2004 with full satisfaction of the client.
A remarkable success based upon Techint know-how, high quality and good performances reached by the shiploaders in operation combined with the continuous technical and operational assistance granted by Techint and Confab technicians always able to meet all customer’s expectations.
