Autogru Rigo S.p.A. is pleased to announce the introduction on the markets of a new AT taxi crane model with 65 metric tons capacity on 4 axles, called RTT 654.

This machine has been created with the help of our Clients’ working needs and their feed-back, along with our long experience; this year Autogru Rigo S.p.A. celebrates its 50th anniversary from its foundation. Very few companies in the industry today reached this goal with the same founder, owners and brand name without being sold or absorbed.

Rigo RTT 654 basis version 8x4x8 carrier is equipped with an Euro 3 Iveco Cursor diesel engine developing 352 HP (259 kW) at 2.050 rpm, complete with engine brake, coupled with a 16 speed servo-shift ZF manual transmission, which always offers the right speed in any condition. 8x6x8 version is also available on request, as well as ABS.

The main 5 section boom is fully hydraulic and proportional, from 10,2 to 40 meter length, and in some conditions it can be telescoped under partial load.

Very fast operating speeds enable the operator to set-up the crane in literally few minutes, making the RTT 654 the ideal partner for those jobs requiring very low down-time and high productivity, hence making customers happy.

Lattice extension of 10 or 17 meter length, with 0° - 20° - 40° off-set grants good lifting capacities and excellent working radius.

During traveling on road, part of the 10 tons counterweight is positioned on front of the carrier, through hydraulic jacks, granting less than 48 tons gross vehicle weight.

On request, the working cab can be hydraulically tilted of more than 30° in order to allow the operator a better visibility during some lifting conditions.

The main characteristics of the RTT 654 are its manufacturing simplicity, easy components accessibility, user-friendly functions and good reliability.
