Particle Technology is a rapidly developing field, where substantial improvements in process and product performance and characteristics can best be achieved by an in-depth understanding of the principles involved. This is an intensive course for scientists and engineers who wish to strengthen their understanding of the fundamentals of particle technology and to get an update of recent advances in this field. The lectures will cover a broad range of subjects from traditional to emerging technologies and will be delivered by leading academic speakers. In addition to the standard lectures, a number of seminars are being planned to be delivered by senior industrial scientists and technologist addressing the state of the art and future technologies. A visit to the research facilities at Leeds is also included. The aim is to provide an unparalleled opportunity for learning and networking in a conducive environment for professional scientists and engineers who thrive on excellence.

The short course will take place at Weetwood Hall in Leeds. The total fee for attending the course is £1500 inclusive of four-day bed and breakfast accommodation, lunches, refreshments, course dinner and VAT.
