Who can tell me the evaluating standard of sizing crusher?

Hi. We have a crusher supplied by MMD UK.We'd like to evaluate the performance of this crusher. The feed size is less than 300mm,the dischargine size is less than 80 or 100mm.

We use this crusher to crush the raw coal with a size range from 0mm to less than 300mm. And this equipment also has the function of screen. The higer of proportion of coarse coal in the discharging material, the better.

Can you tell me how to evaluate its performance?

Thank you.

You intend to evaluate the performance of particular crusher. The performance is a complex issue and it needs to be defined first. In general, any crusher can be evaluated on following counts giving appropriate marks:

1) Output size distribution in relation to your requirement

2) Power consumption

3) Initial cost

4) Operational cost

5) Life (this might get indirectly incorporated into operational cost)

6) Easiness of maintenance

7) Easiness of available spare parts

8) Size, weight and vibrations of the crusher affecting the crusher house structure / building

9) Size, weight and vibrations of the crusher affecting the civil foundation

10) Cost of the electricals in consequence of consumed / installed power

Trust the information will be of use to you.
