Re: Unloading Of Cement From Railway Cars
Hi Serg,
About 8 years ago I worked for a big boiler manufacturer in Germany. One of my topics was the rail unloding of limestone for a new powerplant in East-Germany.
We created together with company Claudius-Peters (Hamburg)
and the railcar-manufacturer VTG a new automatic operating railcar-unloading system with max. capacity of 4 x 60 t/h. Conveying length about 300 - 380 m. A train which consists of 20 cars with together 1200 t, should be emptied in total not more then 8 hours.
Automatic operation means that the operator has only to connect air supply line, conveying line and electrical connector. After that he has to push the start button and go to tracks to unload coal or to do somewhat else.
This system is in troublefree operation since more the 7 years now.
If you have further questions don´t hesistate to contact me.
Regards
Klaus Schneider ■

Unloading of Cement from Railway Cars
Hi everybody,
I'd like to have some references about reliable European manufacturers of pneumatic conveying equipment and complete installations for pneumatic unloading of cement from railway cars into silo storages.
Greatly appreciate any help. ■
