As mentioned by Mr. Banerjee, accuracy level (accuracy tolerance) is very important for belt weigher (belt scale). The price and design of the belt weigher is sensitive to required accuracy tolerance.

If you are using this for monitoring the performance of coal handling plant / power station, then it will have comparatively less accuracy level. However, if you are using it for making the payment for the quantity of coal, then accuracy tolerance will be comparatively narrow, and it will be subject to weight and measure statutory regulations in your country.

The commonly used accuracy level could be +/- 0.5% within weighing range of 30% to 110% of nominal capacity. Of course, this is not universal value and the same depends upon the customer requirement and his willingness to pay the price.

Also, you have to mention whether the belt scale is on stationary conveyor or it is mounted on say boom conveyor of mobile machine.
