I am interested in research/papers related to acoustic emissions encountered in Belt Conveying.
Are there any standards? Is any research being done on emissions related to various components eg. idlers/belt/support structure.
Regards,
ADI ■

Acoustic Emission / Microseismic Activity in Geologic Structures and Materials
by H.R. Hardy, Jr. and co-authors, USA
Vol. 1, 1977, 490 pp, ISBN 087849-017-5, USD 30.00
Vol. 2, 1980, 500 pp, ISBN 087849-032-9, USD 30.00

This is probably the most complete collection of articles available on this subject.
Book Review:
"For the engineer and scientist concerned with the mechanical behavior of geologic structures and materials, the phenomenon of acoustic emission / microseismic activity provides a unique method for the study of material deformation and failure."
